Itinerary Details

Day 01: Arrival in Rumsu base camp

Start from New Delhi to Manali, which will take about 12 hours at night. Get down at Patlikuhal (20 km before Manali and 20 km after Kullu) After that, get a jeep ride to Rumsu base camp(10 km).Freshen up and have your breakfast before you undergo the registration process for the trek.After lunch, go for an acclimatization walk. The chief organizer will give introduction regarding the trek in the evening. The orientation will cover information like rucksack packing, marching/walking technique and general awareness about a Himalayan Trek. Stay overnight at Rumsu base camp.

Day 02: Trek to Ghankulhadi

Have your breakfast and then begin your trek to the Ghankulhadi camp site. The trek passes through a dense wood full of pine, oaks, chestnuts trees and fir.The trek requires moderate ascend which will take about 3 to 4 hours. Then Stoppage in Sterling for lunch. Overnight stay will be at tents in Ghankulhadi camp place.

Day 03: Trek up Hills to Chakli base camp

Start the trek to Chaklani campsite after having breakfast.The campsite is at 3,450 meters which offer astounding views of Manali valley. It takes approximately 4-5 hours to reach the campsite.The first portion of the trek has a moderate ascend but later on it becomes smooth.Explore many hills like Ali Ratna, Friendship peak, Deo Tibba, Hanuman Tibba, Tiger Teeth and others. Finally, the Overnight stay will be at tents in Chaklani campsite.

Day 04: Reach Nagroni camp site.

Begin the day early in the morning by 06:00 AM. It takes around 3 hours to reach the top of Chandrakhani Pass(3,660 meters) from Camp Site.Enjoy your lunch at Chandrakhani top with the scenic panoramas of hills. After that, the route from here is a descend and will take around 3 hours to reach Nagroni camp site.The Overnight stay will be at tents in Chaklani campsite.

Day 05: Trek to reach Malana village

Finally, you will have the trek to Malana from Nagroni which usually takes about 4 to 5 hours. The route is moderate and descends all the way down. On the way, you can see a small village known as Dudhon. The villagers here are Malani people only who had settled here for the cultivation. Afterward finally reach Malana a unique village with its bizarre culture. It claims to be the oldest democracy, and the local believe that they are the successor of Alexandar.Moreover, the village has its own law book and practices. Outsiders are even not allowed to touch any of their books and all the other things.The Overnight stay will be at tents in Malana base camp.

Day 06: Departure Back to Delhi

Today, you will be coming down the hill towards Malana Dam.The route is sheer descend but short which takes approximately an about hour. Relish the ride to Rumsu base camp and have hot lunch at the base camp.Finally in the evening Departure back to Delhi by 05:00 PM by the A.C. car arranged for you.
